Coach Demontre Hurst is entering his 3rd season as the Cornerbacks coach at Santa Fe Hs and his 4th season overall.

He graduated from Lancaster HS in Texas and attended the University of Oklahoma where he played football on a full scholarship from 2009-2012 and finished with numerous Big 12 accolades and a degree in communications. He played in the NFL for 6 years with the Chicago Bears (4) and Tennessee Titans (2). Played in Canada and XFL before deciding to hang up the cleats and begin his coaching career.

Coach Hurst is married to Regin, his wife of 3 years and they have 1 son Demoni (4) and a Yorkie, Hendrix (2).
